國際化正當其時，更是青年菁英的擔當與責任。

作為測繪地理信息領(lǐng)域的大國，我國不僅具有世界上最多的高校測繪類專業(yè)（約200所），而且隨著自然資源監(jiān)測、基礎(chǔ)建設(shè)的穩(wěn)步推進以及人們?nèi)找嬉蕾嚨幕ヂ?lián)網(wǎng)與地理信息的無縫對接，都給我國測繪地理信息的發(fā)展提供了良好的舞臺。特別是2018年11月聯(lián)合國首屆世界地理信息大會在德清的成功舉辦以及正在積極爭取的聯(lián)合國地理信息知識與創(chuàng)新中心落戶德清，為我國測繪地理信息的國際化提供了難得的機遇。測繪地理信息領(lǐng)域的年輕人應(yīng)該把握機遇，更加主動地融入世界，并在國際舞臺上發(fā)出自己的聲音。

為了使青年測量師更多地接觸外部世界、在校學(xué)生學(xué)習到更多學(xué)校以外的知識，并積極參與到世界范圍的青年測量師網(wǎng)絡(luò)中，以及獲得一次難忘的經(jīng)歷，近日，F(xiàn)IG（國際測量師聯(lián)合會）發(fā)布資助世界范圍的青年測量師參加2020年FIG工作周和第5屆青年測量師大會的通知，望國內(nèi)測量類專業(yè)高校在校學(xué)生、青年教師以及走向社會的青年測量工作者積極申請，詳情參見FIG網(wǎng)站（www. fig.net/ fig2020）。FIG也希望中國相關(guān)的機構(gòu)用好FIG這一世界范圍內(nèi)最大的測量師聯(lián)盟平臺，積極參與到這類有效并具有深遠意義的資助活動中。

資助申請通知內(nèi)容如下： 

The FIG, the FIG Foundation, and the FIG Young Surveyors Network invite every Young Surveyors to apply for the next FIG Foundation Grant to attend and participate in the next FIG Working Week 2020 and 5th FIG Young Surveyors Conference in Asmterdam, The Netherlands, from 9 to 14 May 2020.

This opportunity is reserved for deserving Young Surveyors, that are:

A) Young Surveyors (YS)

- Surveying students (and all related studies) aged 35 years or under

B) Young Surveying Professionals (YSP)

- Young Professionals of surveying and all related studies within 10 years of graduation from a Bachelor or Master’s degree aged 35 years or under

The FIG Foundation Grant will cover: travel and visa costs (e.g. airfare, train, bus) , accommodations and meals, the FIG Congress Registration Fee, the FIG Young Surveyors Conference registration fee, the FIG Foundation Dinner, and the FIG Gala Dinner.

All applicants must also provide the following supporting documents to this email- fig.ysn.funds@gmail.com:

- a clear copy of your valid-to-travel passport;

- your updated curriculum vitae;

- two (2) written and signed letters of recommendation or reference letters ( details in the form);

- a photo, a video, or a link that highlights your work or study in the surveying field!
